Choose Your Game

Every human interaction involves an exchange of energy.  When you choose where you want to focus that energy, you are choosing your game.  If you are interacting with an angry person, you can choose to be as angry as they are and when you do that, you are choosing the angry game.  In that particular game, there are no winners and a great deal of energy is wasted.  If you choose to observe the angry person and hear them out without protest, you are choosing the game of peace.  It does not require nearly as much energy and sometimes, in the silence, there can be healing or understanding.  The power to choose your game is relevant in every human interaction.  It shows great wisdom to determine the nature of the interaction before you choose your game.  The ability to choose wisely is the peaceful path of life.
