The times in which you live now are quite volatile. There is war all around you and even those who want to improve conditions are at war with each other Because war is fear based, it is challenging not to enter the world fearfully. The position which is most desirable is to watch the world and to contribute what you can without becoming part of the conflict. This might mean that you support a cause which is moving in the direction which seems to be the most healing. It might mean educating yourself about seeing the truth of a situation to the best of your ability. All these things need to be done without entering the conflict. To be able to watch the world while holding peace inside of yourself is a wonderful spiritual practice.

There are some important things to remember in these times. You are important and your energy is valuable. Where you use your energy is important, not only because of the impact of that energy, but because it is creating strength and purpose in you. You do not, however, control the outcome of the situations of life. You work to the best of your ability and release outcomes to the power of the Universe. In this way, you can continue to hold peace within yourself and resist the war or the world around you and the unnecessary pain of disappointment when an outcome is not he one you wanted.

This peace inside is what enables you to continue to grow and to be valuable in the world as well as being valuable to yourself and your spirit. Life is everything. You will experience many of life’s aspects as you walk your path. The experiences of life come and go, but your spirit is eternal. When you hold peace in a world of war, you grow strong in your spirit. The impact of one person walking in the world peacefully, watching, but not warring, is far greater than you can know. Think of a world where people walk in this way and the light they would bring to a world at war. Then decide to be one of those people, watching the world, holding the peace.
