Being attached to conditions in order to live a good life is dangerous.  Taking on the responsibility for your own happiness requires that you put down conditions and take up consciousness.

Joy in the Present

Pain is a part of being human.  We experience varying degrees of pain in our lives.  While pain must be processed so that it can be released, it is not a good idea to choose pain as a part of our identity or to let it take up so much space in present time that there is no room for joy.

Balancing the Path

When we are pulled by any one aspect of the path, it is difficult to honor that aspect but also to know that there are other aspects to be considered.  The laws of cause and effect are at work on Planet Earth.  While we may love the contemplative beauty of meditation, we cannot neglect the other aspects of life.  Meditation was designed to feed the soul, but not to pay the rent.

 Conscious Detachment

There is so much going on in the rapidly changing world around us.  That change is unsettling, both inside and outside.  The changes allow us to choose what we hold and what we release.  We know what is true, but we cannot applaud or change it as rapidly as we would like to.

 Fill to Receive

It is good to want to create things in your life.  The most important thing, however is to create yourself in the best possible way.  When you are willing to be full and to make keeping that fullness your first priority, you will find that it is much easier to receive the things you want to create in your life.

Inner Truth

The world around us is reflecting the chaos that is created when truth is no longer spoken, recognized or respected.  Not a day goes by when someone’s lie is not broadcasted to the world and spoken with surety and confidence.  It is as though the liar believes that if the lie is spoken repeatedly and convincingly, it becomes the truth.

We live in a world where everything seems to happen at once.  We have been led to believe that all our emotional responses should be singular.  For instance, in a day where something sad has happened, we should only feel sad.
